Voices for Vista 2025
Singing the praises of the many services provided for those with vision loss, Vista Center will hold their fifth annual benefit concert, Voices for Vista on April 24 at Kuumbwa Jazz. Believing that vision loss is no longer a barrier to independence, Vista Center empowers individuals who are blind or visually impaired to embrace life to the fullest through evaluation, counseling, education, and training.
Three talented musicians join forces to create an evening of folk songs from the British Isles and America. Soprano Sheila Willey is a UC Santa Cruz lecturer celebrated for her opera and art song performances. Shelley Phillips is director of the Santa Cruz Community Music School and a talented harpist, oboist and flautist. William Coulter is a Grammy-winning guitarist, known for his Celtic-inspired arrangements.
