Kuumbwa Jazz is back, with our doors reopen to audiences, and we couldn’t be happier! We are looking forward to our annual fundraiser, which will occur on Saturday, November 6th, so that we can celebrate and raise a glass together all while providing crucial support for Kuumbwa’s concert and music education programs.
This year’s event is generously sponsored by Miner Family Winery and will also feature wines from the private cellar of Erik and Judy Johnson. We also look forward to welcoming Parker Stokes, who is keeping the spirit of Bill the Oysterman going strong with his oyster bar offerings.
To make this evening as safe and as comfortable as possible, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event start time) is required for entry. Masks will be required indoors, except while eating or drinking. Additionally, the capacity for this year’s event has been reduced.
In light of the significant operational and staffing struggles that our local restaurant industry is facing this year, instead of featuring a guest chef from a local restaurant, we will be offering a bountiful spread of hearty appetizers, charcuterie and cheese plates, oysters, and dessert…in addition to the fantastic wines that this annual event is known for!
The evening will be highlighted by a rousing set of live music by Kuumbwa favorite Tony Lindsay. For those who many not be familiar, Lindsay is an amazing jazz and R&B vocalist, especially renowned for his multi-decade collaboration with Santana.
There will also be a silent and live auction filled with unique packages and experiences, top-shelf wines, artisan pieces, and more!
