Trio Grande is a collaborative multi-national trio with British saxophonist Will Vinson, Israeli guitarist Gilad Hekselman, and American drummer Nate Wood. The band released an eponymous debut to an avalanche of critical acclaim in 2020.

Vinson combines a great respect for the century-long jazz tradition with explorations into the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic realms of contemporary forms. Time Out London calls the saxophonist an “exciting young altoist with a lethal approach to writing and soloing”. Since his arrival in New York as a student in 2004, Hekselman has become a fixture in the city’s jazz scene, conducting residencies and performing at legendary venues and is one of the leading voices in jazz guitar. Wood is a GRAMMY nominated drummer/multi-instrumentalist and mastering engineer based in New York City, and has performed and recorded with the likes of Dave Grohl, Brian May and Roger Taylor (Queen), Chaka Khan, and Billy Childs.
