Trained in the intricacies of North Indian classical music by his father the legendary Pandit Shiv Dayal Batish, Batish has stepped out of the box and taken his age-old traditional forms through a musical melt with some of the most exciting and beat driven music forms of the west. He has created a landscape of cultural richness one can not only hear, but see.
