Featuring Salani Wamkanganise, Kelly Takunda Orphan, Kanukai Chigamba, Michell Marufu, with special guests Kudzie Jambwa (mbira, marimba & percussion) and Rujeko Dumbutshena (dance & percussion).
Mufaro weDzimbahwe (moo‑far‑oh way‑zim‑bah‑we) — A new, electric dance band co‑led by Salani Wamkanganise & Kelly Takunda Orphan, inspired by mbira music and musical pioneers like Thomas Mapfumo and Oliver Mtukudzi. Expect drums, bass, mbira, guitar, accordion, ukulele, marimbas, rich vocals and vibrant percussion that will keep you dancing all night.
