Graduate students from Professor Karlton Hester’s Area Studies in Performance Practice (MUSC 203H ) will perform new improvisatory composition based upon an intensive examination of the vocal and instrumental performance practices of living musical traditions of African, Asian, Latin America, or other global regions.
