This remarkable band, formed solely for this occasion, highlights trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, pianists Billy Childs and Gerald Clayton, drummer Gregory Hutchinson, flautist Elena Pinderhughes, saxophonist Joshua Redman, and bassist Reuben Rogers in an evening that embodies Kuumbwa’s ethos of ‘Celebrating Creativity.’
