Advance ticket sales for this show have ended.
Tickets will be available at the door starting at 6:00 PM

From an early age is was clear that drummer and vibraphonist Jason Marsalis had what it took to be great. The son of pianist and educator Ellis Marsalis and his wife Dolores, and the youngest sibling of Wynton, Branford and Delfeayo, Jason is a member of New Orleans’ venerable first family of jazz. Marsalis is known for his prodigious drumming and while working with his father’s group, as well as with piano great Marcus Roberts, he has fine-tuned his playing to the highest artistic level. With the release of 2013’s In A World Of Mallets Marsalis introduced his talents as a vibraphonist, winning a Rising Star Award in DownBeat Magazine. His latest album is 2016’s Heirs Of The Crescent City and this concert dates features Marsalis at the vibraphones.
