Inaugural Santa Cruz County Youth Poet Laureate Celebration
Presented by the Santa Cruz County Poet Laureate. Masks are welcome. The bar & café will be open.
This is a joyful opportunity to appreciate our Santa Cruz County youth and let their unique voices shine. The program will include readings by the five finalists as well as the inaugural youth poet laureate. Special guests include Joseph Jason Santiago LaCour, local poet & performer, reciting a poem for the Youth Poet Laureate finalists; and Valentina Russell, Poetry Out Loud Santa Cruz County champion, Aptos High School student.
