Diamonds in the Rough – A Tribute to John Prine

Local Santa Cruz seasoned musicians, Jim Rosenberg and Paul Logan, team up to create Diamonds In The Rough, an acoustic duo that authentically captures the essence of John Prine.  Reminiscent of the magic combination of the John Prine/Steve Goodman era, Rosenberg and Logan combine acoustic guitars, bass and vocal harmonies to bring you such classics as “Souvenirs”, “Sam Stone” and “The Accident,” as well as John’s post-Goodman gems. Says Jim Rosenberg, “I’ve been playing his songs and have been a lifelong fan and self-appointed apprentice since 1970.”  Paul Logan has appeared on recordings with Al Jardine, Steve Miller, Brian Wilson, Neil Young, David Crosby, Glen Campbell, Lucinda Williams and Lyle Lovette.
