Don’t miss out on this special evening dedicated to transforming hearts and opening minds to healing through music, storytelling, and the power of community. Proceeds go to Northern California First Responder Trauma Recovery through Raven Drum Foundation, a US 501(c)(3) public charity.

Raven Drum Foundation was established in 2001 by Founders Rick Allen and Lauren Monroe. Its mission is to serve, educate and empower trauma survivors and communities in crisis, with a focus on veterans and first responders. By integrating advocacy, storytelling, music, and arts programs and events, we bring the tools and experiences of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) to support and inspire mental health, resiliency, and unity.

Makili Wa means” World Listen” in Lingala and Lari, Elis native languages of the Congo. They are here to converse, hear, and be heard through rhythm, melody, and story. They strive to create truthful music. Music that reflects the dynamic human experience and offers us an opportunity for deep connection.

New York-born, California-based polymath Lauren Monroe is a gifted singer-songwriter and architect of transformational experiences. An alchemist changing hidden emotions into deep insight and healing, she uses the art of music, storytelling, mindfulness, and energy medicine to guide listeners and share with them the intentions infused in her songwriting. A recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and healing arts educator with 25 years of experience, Monroe approaches these intertwined roles with equal passion, her nuanced understanding of human behavior informing her music of the frailties of the human condition and the power of the human spirit.

Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Stem cell biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award, he has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as a keynote presenter for national and international conferences. “The moment you change your perception is the moment you rewrite the chemistry of your body.”– Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D.
