Expect an eclectic night of straight ahead jazz, funk, rock, pop, R&B, and originals....

He is a first-call bassist in the Bay Area and beyond. This class will feature Robbins, along with Eddie Mendenhall on piano and Mike Shannon on drums, interpreting various jazz styles including improvisation, funk, rock, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban. Acoustic and electric bass, plus a variety of solo bass approaches will be demonstrated and discussed, including the use of loopers and effects. Duet playing will also be featured, plus plenty of time for Q & A with the artists. All levels welcome....
