The Quebe Sisters plus Alex Lucero

6:45 PM
All Ages
Presented by Snazzy Productions.

With over fifteen years of touring to date, The Quebe Sisters have delivered their authentic triple fiddle and three-part harmony sound to the concert halls and festivals of North America and Europe. Grace, Sophia, and Hulda Quebe front an innovative Progressive Western Swing band of archtop guitar, upright bass, fiddles and sibling harmony. The Dallas-based five-piece presents a unique Americana blend of Western Swing, Jazz-influenced Swing, Country, Texas-Style Fiddling, and Western music.

Heavily influenced by R&B and Soul of the 1960’s and 70’s, lead singer/frontman, Alex Lucero showcases his timber and rasp as well as high falsetto in his live and studio performances. Alex is frontman for Live Again. As a solo artists he plays some of the same songs but more singer-songwriter tunes. “My favorite genre is soul music—Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke. That’s my wheelhouse. That’s my favorite music of all time,” Lucero says. “I try to play that every single show we play, regardless of the lineup.”
