Summer Jazz Camp
For over 25 years Kuumbwa’s Summer Jazz Camp has been a destination for dedicated young musicians to learn about the thrilling creativity and limitless possibilities of jazz. Through playing, studying, listening, and collaborating, this camp will help students grow as jazz musicians. Campers will receive one-on-one and group instruction by professional music educators, and will develop key musicianship skills for live performance, basic improvisation, soloing, phrasing, collaboration, and proficiency in music theory.
Dates: June 14th – June 24th, 2021
Session Options: 9 AM – 11 AM, 12 PM – 2 PM, 3 PM – 5 PM
Location: Cabrillo College campus quad, outside building 2100
Capacity: 14 students per session
