25 songs from 25 years, This Machine: The Best of Roy Zimmerman is more than a greatest hits compilation.  “Melanie and I have chosen the songs that best answer this crucial moment in history and turn our hearts, minds and ears toward the social justice battles yet to be won. It’s laugh-out-loud originals like Creation Science 101, biting satirical snipes like Thoughts and Prayers, and resolute expressions of hope like I Approve This Message. We’ve even updated and re-recorded five songs including last year’s online mega-hit Vote Him Away (The Liar Tweets Tonight).”  This retrospective is unabashedly looking forward.

In 1982 Richard Stockton became the morning talk show host of WKDA/KDF in Nashville, Tennessee which was the number one hot-talk show in the mid south for two years, primarily because it was the only hot-talk show in the mid south. In 1986 he became a full time touring comedian, based in San Francisco. In his twenty-nine years as a standup comedian he has appeared on dozens of national TV shows, performed in 1999 and 2000 as a sketch comedy player on Live From LA on BET, headlined A List comedy clubs from coast to coast – Improv, Punchline, Comedy Underground, Comedy Works, and more – growing an audience of devotees to his unique take on the human potential movement.
