Lee Ritenour with Dave Grusin – 9:00 PM

Advance ticket sales for this show have ended.
Tickets will be available at the door starting at 8:30 PM

Guitar ace Lee Ritenour began working with renowned artists while still in his teens. Nicknamed “Captain Fingers” for his virtuosic guitar skills, Ritenour rode the electric jazz/fusion wave of the late ’70s into national prominence. A founding member of Fourplay—the longtime L.A. super-group with Harvey Mason, Nathan East and Bob James—Ritenour’s smooth, melodic style has inspired an entire generation of guitarists. Pianist Dave Grusin is one of the most prolific producer/arrangers of the last five decades. Grusin’s GRP label has recorded the crème de la crème of the jazz and smooth jazz worlds. His compositions for film and television soundtracks have won several awards, including ten Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for The Milagro Beanfield War. Another Grammy was awarded to Grusin and Ritenour’s 1985 collaboration Harlequin. More recently, their classical-influenced albums Two Worlds and Amparo, were nominated for Grammys in 2001 and 2008.
