Felip Walker is a young performing jazz pianist and multi-instrumentalist hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. His fresh take on the new generation of jazz brings exciting and unique arrangements, blending formal piano training with lush modern harmonies and introspective presentation.
A protégé of grammy-winning pianist Taylor Eigsti, and formerly studying under the likes of percussionist Chad Wackerman and saxophonist Charles McPherson, Walker reaches to expand and share his musical perspectives beyond the piano.
His debut trio – featuring drummer Matt Kesecker and bassist Miguel Leyva, includes engaging performances of refreshed classics alongside original compositions.
