Tuck Andress and Patti Cathcart have steadily charted a path of their own choosing. Their music ranges from clever originals, to melodic show tunes, to the music of Jimi Hendrix. As a duo mixing jazz improvisation with the melodic accessibility of pop and the soulfulness of gospel, Tuck’s earthy, blues-drenched guitar and Patti’s on-the-mark, expressive vocals prove that a good song will stand on its own merit, regardless of its style.
