Valentine's Comedy Shows
Saturday, February 11

Michael Slack's smart, dry take on his absurd world keeps audiences thinking... and laughing.  His pursuit of comedy, coupled with the fact that he did not attend anything remotely resembling medical school, dashed all hopes of a career as a prominent brain surgeon.  A perpetual hapless hero, Michael is regarded by peers as one of the sharpest writers and quickest wits in the business.

Justin McClure is more energy than a lightning bolt coming out of a nuclear power plant and more likeable than a Abba disco CD at a gay pride parade. His affable presence and caustic rapid-fire wit make him an immediate fan favorite wherever he goes. Displaying unique energy and an infectious personality, Justin is as original as he is hilarious.

Kurtis Matthews began his comedy career in 1984 at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Kurtis has opened for and shared the stage with Bill Hicks, Adam Sandler, Sam Kinison, Dennis Wolfberg, George Lopez, Jeff Cesario, Jim Carrey, Bob Goldthwaite, Rodney Dangerfield, Janeane Garofalo, and many others. Ask him about his long history of working with comedians who have drinking problems and puppets and comedians who work with puppets that have drinking problems.

Maggie Newcomb is not your average 6 foot tall blond female. With her clever and intelligent comedy she captivates audiences and keeps them laughing. Comedy has always been a part of Maggie's life. In the business world Maggie entertained her co-workers with her sarcastic comments at inappropriate times.   As a collegiate athlete she lacked the competitive attitude or skills, but her outrageous sense of humor gave the team something to smile about.

Anthony Hill has performed comedy up and down the west coast from L.A. to Canada. He has worked in every major comedy club in the bay area including the Punch Line, Cobbs, and the San Jose Improv where he is considered a 'favorite' opening and featuring with headliners such as Brett Butler, Willie Barcena, Robert Schimmel, Darrell Hammond, and Brian Regan.
