We like to include youthful performers and are very excited about Emrys Hanley (22 year old songwriter) and band wch includes a dynamic young female bassist Serenity. He just cut a CD that sounds melodious and thoughtful and conscious of the world around us. Everything I like to hear from the younger generation. Will also have Ariel Thiermann -- still in her youth -- returning to enchant.
Two artists from the former VocaMotion acapella group will bring their new acts. Jonathan Arthur will bring his intense trio of men called Meta Four. And Gail Swain and her Band are preparing an uplifting R&B set for the end of the evening.
Rita Hosking will come from down from Davis to share her old-tyme songwriting in the style and grace of Gillian Welch. Rita has a beautiful vocal style -- understated yet haunting.
