Ibrahim
Ferrer, a featured vocalist with the Buena Vista Social
Club, now leads his own splendid aggregation. For over
two decades, beginning in the 1950s, Ibrahim was the
lead singer for Pacho Alonso's Havana-based orchestra.
He also sang with Cuban legends like the Orquesta de
Chepin and Beny Moré, but it was his work with The Buena
Vista Social Club in the late 1990s that re-ignited
his career for a new generation of fans. In 2000, Ferrer
won a Grammy for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy
Awards. For tickets and ticket information, call
